6:15pm - a few minutes to be late and socialize and then meet up with the rest at 7 at Shell.

Does picktown = pickerington? I'm right there too, but I've never been to QSL. I've only lived here for a couple months. Apparently I thought Columbus > San Diego....

Angrish, I appreciate the offer! I might have to take you up on it when I get the right tools/parts. If the chain can easily touch the swingarm when I push it up from underneath, what's the likelyhood I will need to replace it?

I changed the oil and cleaned/lubed the chain. It was my first time though, so I may not have done the best job but it definitely looks alot better.

Anyone in the area want to help me go over my new bike. I know there is things that need to be done like adjust the chain (its bad) and I'm sure there's more that I don't even know. Who can help out a newb and check it out with me?

Yes, Tipp is about 1.5 hours from Reynoldsburg. I haven't been around long enough to suggest a mechanic but I've seen quite a few people on here that seem to be pretty competent.

Ha yeah, admins and mods can delete or edit as they feel and they can put some kind of standard review template that people can copy and paste into the review posting.

I'd like to suggest a Parts Review section. Another board I'm a part of has it and it can be useful as long as people actually do some reviews. Any one else agree?

hm, I'm a newb to the site but I'd like to get involved in some of these things. If for no other reason then to use local people here to help me work on my bike. When's it happenin tomorrow?

This may not apply to relatively new brake lines but through a combination of scenarios mentioned, heat and hard braking, rubber lines can become weak and expand with the hydraulic pressure instead of using that pressure to apply the brakes. That creates a "mushy" feeling. That's why some people use stainless steel braided lines. They don't weaken and expand.

Any one have any recommendations or warnings about shops/dealership in the Columbus area? I've been to ASK Powersports a few times since it's just a couple miles away and they seem cool.

First I joined 600rr.net, met a few guys on there from this site and figured I would sign up here too. I pick up my 05 Honda CBR600RR either tomorrow or Friday. I was supposed to pick it up yesterday but the rain just wouldn't stop! If I can't pick it up tomorrow, I might have to make some friends on here I can ask to take me there to get it! My gf was going to take me yesterday, and can take me tomorrow but not Friday.

It's only got 540 miles on it. I hadn't ridden in about a year so when I test rode it, I loved it.

Hopefully I'll meet up with some of you guys before too long at some group ride or get together.
