  1. Honestly...

The way that I see it (in most scenarios), a motorcycle is a toy. A well-researched impulse purchase that appeals to the non-practical side. With that being established, why not purchase something that stirs the soul and speaks to your most primal desires?!!?

Granted the RC is hot and uncomfortable as fcuk... And there are other bikes on the market that I absolutely lust over... It's one fun, very capable bike, and I wouldn't give it up in order to get any of the bikes out there that I currently want.

  2. I know a girl who is an upcoming OSU freshman, and she has an amazing portfolio of paintings and sketches.

Obviously I don't think that she has any references as I'm not sure that she's been commissioned by anyone yet (though I am planning to get her to do a piece for me). A lot of her art has been on display throughout OH however.

Let me know if you would like to speak with her, and I will forward your requirements to her and her parents.

  3. What you call the SP1 tail, was one the bike up to 2002. In 2003 they went to a reversed scheme. Instead of black number plates on a silver tail, it was silver number plates on a black tail. I like the 2003 tail better, but the previous owner did not. Finding a 2003 tail in good condition is a little harder than trying to make a diamond out of a lump of coal.

I had a relatively "mint" '03 tail (but the cowl was still '02... Provided a pretty cool effect since the colors were reversed). But I sold it when I switched to the '05/'06 scheme.

    BUMP FOR A NICE-AZZ RC!

  4. If I had to pick something motorcycle related based on his looks, I'd name him "sprocket".

There's a girl who works at my vet's office who rides, and she has two dogs, Ducati and Enzo.

Other cool dog names: Deacon, Grizz, Griff, Graff, Doug, Murphy... Etc. Just start playing with him a lot, and generally his playfulness will help you land on a name. My dog's name is Bear (I adopted him at 2, and it just didn't seem right to change it at that point), but I call him "Bud" or "Buddy" so much that one day, I grabbed his leash and said: "C'mon Buddles!" My GF and I cracked up for like 10min, so that's his new nickname.

  5. Hahaha! Great find!!! That was a crazy-azz ride! Especially with the hangover that I was rockin'. That was definitely '06. I had just moved here and met Pat who told me about the ride.

Regarding the Picotte replica helmet, I've retired that one (it was old), and picked up a newer one. I'm kind of a collector now.

  6. I always just crack my lid to let a little air in, and this is the awesome part, I use my mouth to breath straight down over my chin (and out of my helmet) like I'm breathing through a straw. Hardly ever have fog problems! :) ... and nobody sees me looking silly because i have a helmet over my face.

HAHAHA! I thought that I was the only one who did this!!!
