There’s no denying the fact that no one’s head is shaped exactly the same. Arai is well aware of this, and feel that a proper fit is extremely important when it comes to the protection and comfort that a helmet can provide. In order to fit these different shapes, Arai produces there helmets with a few different shapes of their own. Those that have tried on helmets and experienced pressure at the front and back of the head will definitely want to take notice of the Signet-Q and its long oval shape.

The Arai Signet-Q looks nearly identical to the RX-Q and shares many of its features. These include the wide field of vision, quiet and efficient ventilation, brow-vent shields, and the Hyper-Ridge. If you’re not already familiar with the Hyper-Ridge, it’s the distinctive band that runs around the bottom of the shell. It not only provides a lower center of gravity, but also improves strength and aerodynamics. Despite these similarities, the Signet-Q is an entirely different model, which becomes clear when you take note of the differences.

The most significant difference between the Signet-Q and the RX-Q is the shape. The Signet-Q is actually 5mm longer from front to back, meaning that it is what Arai calls a long oval. Additionally, the Signet-Q has peel-away pads in the headliner that allow you to customize the fit on the sides of the head right out of the box. A new, more comfortable cheek pad system, called Facial Contour Support (FCS), was also added to this model. The new cheek pads feature an innovative design that puts just the right amount of pressure on the cheeks to give a secure fit and to keep wind noise out while being worn, but easily pull aside when putting the helmet on or taking it off. Like the headliner, the cheek pads also have a 5mm layer that can be peeled off to dial in the fit.

If you’re interested in the Signet-Q, or any other Arai helmets, feel free to get in touch with Nathan through the forum or by calling 866.931.6644 ext. 809. If email is more convenient, send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away!

This matte black beauty of a helmet definitely caught the attention of a lot of people when it was first released earlier this year, and it spent a while on backorder as a result. The good news is that it is back in stock!

You can get more information about the Arai Signet-Q US Flag Black Frost by calling Nathan at 866.931.6644 ext. 809, contacting him through this forum, or by sending an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM
