JackFlash
Okay, so I bounced my bike off of the road surface and now have deep scratchesin my fairings, along with a chip, and a very rough top edge. I'm going to try to fixthe surface and make it paint-ready. The big question here is, since the bike has already been dropped, will restoring thepaint job to the original paint scheme, with new decals, preserve more resale value than changing it with a different color and a different look, paint wise? It's an '08 Suzuki GS 500F with about 5000 miles on it, if that helps. I intend to sellthe bike for some of the money I'll need to upgrade to another one. If changing it's look fromfactory to custom, with paint will make it worth less, I don't want to do it, but I don't like what the cost is on some of these original parts like blinkers and mirrors.... serpentracer
not sure it really matters on a sportbike. maybe a harley because those kind of people are more interested in that stuff than riding it.
Mykill
Factory. People shy away from custom or aftermarket fairings.

serpentracer
because that usually means it's been crashed.
