Gixxus Christ!
Installed 16 vinyl replacement windows yesterday with the Beloit some very generous friends. It was relatively easy and we saved about a grand by installing them ourselves. Still have a lot of painting to do but can't paint over the caulk for a week. Many 'caulk' jokes were told. grapesmuggler27
Nothing like the smell of caulk in the morning
Bad324
home improvement projects are just dandy aren't they? Pain in the ass to do but the feeling of being done and upgraded is something great
Gixxus Christ!
Yeah, they are. Since moving in with my fiancee we have put up a tile backsplash, put in a solid oak floor and replaced the windows. She is incredibly handy and not afraid to get dirty. Kent2406
Who's windows did you buy? Just curious, cause I work for a window and door company, and I'm always interested in what people are buying.

Gixxus Christ!
Kent, we went with the alside Excalibur. Bri, my girl was right there sweating with me and my buddies, tearing out 80 yr old painted shut windows with a hammer and flat bar.
