Your vocabulary word for the day is: stoichiometric ratio. The ratio of a flammable substance to air at which it burns most efficiently. That's why they say well-ventilated area - keeps the fuel concentration below the ideal stoichiometric ratio. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stoichiometry I am now going to politely site and wait until humans evolve a third arm so that I can triple-facepalm this guy. hummingbird
shnap, i've been hit by the static sparks shopvacs produce, good 2 inch blue bolt right out the side of the hose, through my pants, through my whole leg speaking of the stoichiometric ratio, I LOL when people freak out about the gas stove not lighting within 2 secs... I leave it on for about 10 secs then light it just to show them that the house won't blow up Edited June 12, 2013 by hummingbird
