On a sad note, the 1023 miles I did on the freeway back from NOLA sure did flatten the center of the rear tire. My friend use to race flat track in the 1000cc money bike class...was some scarey shit...130+ MPH on straight-aways driving on freggin dirt! His gpa rode all his life, he helped his grand son out BIGTIME w bike maintenance and such - every body called him "doc" the dude knows everything there is to know about bikes - dirt, track, street.
