chevysoldier
My craftsman 19.2v battery was saying defective in the charger. I took my fully charged battery and hooked it up to the bad one with some wires and clamps and bobby pins. I let it sit for 20 minutes and put it back on the charger. It longer says defective but is now charging. Seems it was so dead that it wouldn't recharge. I figured this might help some of you.Bad Battery___A1____B1__C1____D1___Good Battery___A2____B2__C2____D2___Connect A1 to A2, Connect B1 to B2Connect C1 to C2, Connect D1 to D2

ReconRat
Done that. Done the deep draw to make it work longer and better also. Draw too low and it's dead. A fact of modern life, in every houshold can be found a dead battery. An expensive one, usually.
ohiomike
Yep, I have one of those 19V Craftsman batteries that is showing dead when I plug it into the charger. Good battery to try this out on.
