ZxHooligan
I'm looking for a new helmet since I got a new bike. The bike is metallic black I have white boots so ordering a white leather suit and gloves. Looking for a middle of the road as far as price goes but has to be Snell or equivalent approved. All recommendations are appreciated

ohiomike
I like Nolan, but then it depends on the shape of your head which helmet is going to fit properly.
RCBS
I recommend a trip to the Pony. As stated above, find what fits and go from there. I tried all the top brands and settled on Bell.
serpentracer
I can only recommend the big name brands. shoei, arai, suomy etc.when you get into the off brands or brands that make lower end units like hjc, bell, agv etc that just means they dont focus on making top quality stuff only. yes, agv about 7 or 8 years ago was a junk low end helmet brand no one wanted to buy. I'm not buying that their stuff has become some of the best out there. Edited September 24, 2013 by serpentracer
Gixxus Christ!
I rock a bell vortex grind, the pattern would jive with black and white gear, its Snell and dot, the venting is great, its pretty light and comfy, my only complaint is wind noise from the speaker recesses but I hear you can just cut some foam and stick it behind the cheek pieces to fix that.URL: http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav=item.view&id=111004649794 Edited September 24, 2013 by CrazySkullCrusher
Tpoppa
Scorpion makes great helmets for the money. EXO 500 gets very good reviews.
LINK
I like Shark and Scorpion...As mentioned, fitment should determine your choice...Matte black, Black, matte white, white, matches just about everything.
