07 yamaha r1 misfire help

After going for a 4 hour ride I met up with my dad at a restaurant, the bike was running fine. I went to leave not even a hour later and the bike doesn't want to get out of its own way, it has a bad misfire. Could a plug foul that quickly? Or is there something worse that it could be?

Turn off ignition and kill switch. Unplug fuel wiring harness under tank. Hold down both select and reset buttons while turning on ignition. Lcd should read 'diag'. If there's something wrong it should throw a code.

It will at least get you closer to knowing what component is messed up.
