redbarron77
Hypothetical situation: You had roofing work done to your home, and the company didn't put a gutter back correctly, causing water damage to the siding of your home. How long would be a reasonable time for the company to fix the siding? This is assuming it didn't take almost 18 months for them to fix the gutter. scottb
Assuming the company has been in contact with you over 18 months, what excuses have been given as to why the repair is not completed? I just finished a big project ( at least me) at my house. What started out a simple slider door upgrade, turned into a new roof, replacing rotting wood around the door and part of the floor replacement. Had to remove most off the siding off the back of the house. My original slider door installer did not seal anything around the door frame. Then, a slight roof leak allowed water to get around the door and rotted out the door frame and the floor. I did the wood repair my self over 3 weekends.
