Thanks to Nick at Sportbike Track Time, I have four track days to give away...

Does a "track day" cover some instruction from a veteran rider, or is this just for people who know what they're doing and zippity zoom around a track?

You'll get instruction, just don't be shy about asking for it.

Shit, if we both end up with a day, and the STT staff will allow it, I'll tow you around as much as you want.  I'm not going to be setting any lap records on a 500 lbs. bike with sport touring tires, but I think I can stay in front of you ;-)

I doubt they will since they have a very structured novice class.

They have made exceptions before.  I know when I was in STT's beginner group one of the instructors was doing private sessions with her friend all afternoon.  Yeah, she was an instructor, but it's not unprecedented.

They will let their instructors out to do one on one with people that don't fit into a group yes but they won't have a customer out there towing another customer.

Tpoppa on a racetrack, if he wins I'd go to whatever trackday he goes to just to witness it.

Lol.

I've actually been on a track once before.  I did the KTM day at Mid Ohio on a RC8R.
