Tpoppa
Pretty sure by Ohio law that if you have a CHL and are carrying, then you cannot have any alcohol in your system. Other states like Kentucky, CHL and carrying with alcohol in your system, you are under the same limits and laws as those who are not a licensed carrier and drinking. When I took my class this was discussed at length. I believe it was worded as "cannot be under the influence of alcohol" no limit was stated. It's not the same as .08 for a DUI, so any alcohol could be interpreted as under the influence. Edited August 15, 2014 by Tpoppa
redkow97
I would certainly expect his permit to go away for a long time. He definitely needs a laywer, like already. Even the best lawyer can't change the facts. He might end up paying to be told "you're screwed. I'll try to get you the lightest sentence possible." bark615
This won't be cheap for him.... costly mistake. When I am carrying, I won't even hold an alcohol drink for anyone... I don't want to be tempted to take a sip ect. Not gonna risk it.
redkow97
I know a guy who I used to work with who will do a good job for a reasonable price. Tomas does a lot of DUI defense, and he's not an a-hole. That's a rare combo ;-)
