madcat6183
I bought the revised version PT111 G2 that was on sale at Vances a few weeks ago, love it for my true bedroom/safe gun that never leaves the room. It has the tact rail which I like, and came with 2 mags so always ready to go. Last night was the first time in 3 months I touched it and swapped mags and wow, that mag release might be the smoothest/best of any gun I own. Actually it is, which is crazy but it's super smooth and slick.

r1crusher
I had a Gen1 version if I recall correctly of the PT145. Loved it short of a good bit of muzzle jump but that's to be expected with such a short barrel for a .45. There was a recall on them due to a problem with the poly frame near the rear of the gun at the slide. Some were found to be cracking and Taurus made them right by fixing them. Any production models that start with "NV...." were subject to the problem. Production ended in 2013 I believe on the PT145 but it was a very solid and capable carry gun. GLWS! r1crusher
I certainly wasn't suggesting such, Jason. Just wanted to let you and anyone else know about some of the history of the gun. It's a great CC gun and I def. miss mine. If it's not an "NV" serial then you and the next owner have zero to worry about. Again, GLWS. smccrory
Nice trade. It reminds me that I need to exercise my dad's 50-year-old .22 Hornet rifle this spring. I never figured out why the Hornet fell out of favor - it's a hot cartridge.
