Wojo72
I've been playing around with an app called Navmii. It's available for both android and apple devices. The think that I like is that the maps are downloadable by state. This is good for people who have low data caps. I have unlimited data but I am thinking that it will be useful when I get out in the boonies and loose signal. Google maps does have the ability to cache maps but it's a pain in the rear. You can only download 50km x 50 km chunks. I don't have any skin in the game. I am just goofing off during my lunch hour.
just_some_dude
Are you wanting roads, or just maps? I've used Backcountry Navigator while hiking.
Wojo72
In this case I want the roads as I start to ride a little farther away from home. My Sprint service is hit or miss once I get outside of the Cbus metro area. Edited March 3, 2015 by Wojo72
