  1. I hope my physical therapist doesn't break me this week!
  2. Wish I could make it, but injury has me temporarily sidelined
  3. Looking for suggestions for some minor airbrushing. 1 windsceen, and painting over some words on the back fairing..any suggestions? Attackpainter seems to be hiding
  4. Here,by nokia seems pretty good so far
  5. Thanks for the suggestions. I sent Hoblick a message a few days ago, still haven't heard back..so guessing he is occupied. I'll wait a little while, and see what all places are mentioned, and go from there.
  6. Well, having some issues with my bike, and was wondering if anyone knows of anyone in central ohio that is trustworthy, experienced, and has reasonable prices? Regulator started over charging, partially melting my battery, made a fuel pump relay make a clicking sound, blowing out both headlight bulbs, and that's just the stuff I've been able to find. Replaced all those, and it started fine, but soon as I started on a test ride, it just cut out, and I haven't been able to get to run since. My health is in bad shape, so I'm looking to take it somewhere reasonably close to Marysville. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks
  7. Come on crazy ohio weather! make the storms go away, and bring out the sun!
  8. I am a Probably on this. I might be out of state though. Are they all going to be on the 2nd sat this year so I can adjust future schedules?
  9. This is such a great idea, that it was enough to bring me out of my OR "Retirement". Some will of course, Now argue that it wasn't worth it. So let's see. There was One person in front of me, but she let me cut in line (Thank you random stranger!) So I didn't have to wait any. I got a free shirt, drinks, a coupon for a free ice cream cone, (was also offered snacks, but I declined them). Then, I post up a pic of me doing my part to help save a life (like That alone, isn't enough motivation) and I get a few more goodies I truly Hope, that nobody from this site will Ever have to worry about being on the "Other" end of this type of situation. However, the Truth is, we have All seen the countless swerving drivers, who feel that whatever that text they Just sent was about, is/was more important then My life, and/or the life of you, my fellow biker Brothers and Sisters. Everyone deserves better then that. WE definitely deserve better. If anyone ever "deserves" to be on the Other end of this great idea... it is that careless, and thoughtless driver that caused it all to happen. (too bad it rarely ever works out that way) Again, Great idea, and I am proud to have helped out.
  10. No worries at all man...just glad you stayed safe. p.s. it's Ben, not Dan. Confusing I know..it happens often. (Or, maybe it's Jeff, depending on who you ask!)
  11. You know, the only reason I passed you, is a good song came on, an it told me to go faster for a little bit. Once the song ended, i dunno, probably 5 minutes after I passed you.. I ended up stopping and waiting for you to catch up. Another 5 minutes went by, (probably closer to 10) then I doubled back to go see if you were hanging out in a ditch! I went back to where I passed you at, and didn't see anything on the sides of the road, or any skid marks...so I turned back around to go catch up with the rest of the riders. A few minutes from reaching them, I ran into Dennis, as he was coming back to check on us. I was feeling really bad for a while, not knowing if you were dead and hidden somewhere. Next time, please let someone know if possible. Also, I'd say 90% of the time, I ride behind the slowest person, no matter who it is, or how slow they are going. Many years ago, I completely lost the ability to ride any, and so now, I truly don't mind riding slow. I am completely content with the simple fact that I am on 2 wheels again. Personally, I don't care where I am riding, what type of bikes are there, or what speed I am going. I am just thrilled with the experience of being there. So please, if you choose to ride with us again, (or with any group I am in) don't worry at all about being slower. I really don't mind at all. Hope to see you out there again!
  12. It was great meeting some new faces, as well as meeting some familiar ones again. It was also really nice to meet Jeff. You know, it wasn't exactly what I had planned for the day, but...since we happened to run into your group as it was forming, it all worked out well. I had a lot of fun today, and the bike and I made it home in the same condition as when we left, so it was a great day! Hope everyone has a great night!
  13. I'll also join you guys for breakfast before heading over. Just let me know when, and where
  14. I'll be there again this year..but I am not going to eat there. It was a very disappointing one last year. I wonder if we will also get another free coffee cup from some random company..I think it was a construction company? See you guys and gals tomorrow
  15. Happy Birthday man! I hope you have a great day!
  16. 3 of us left qsl about 7:40. We are about an hour out now. pitstop at 30 and 179 marathon
  17. Omg! That's even worse. You are confusing me, with your confusion!
  18. Some people never actually read.. I said I didn't get a chance to switch them, so its the same as it was thursday. Obnoxiously loud? Heck no.. It just purrs like a little ninja 250 as it sits now! It might just be the quietest Busa I have ever "Almost" heard!
  19. I am Probably (75% chance) going to be able to make it tomorrow..but unfortunately, my bike isn't how I was hoping. I didn't get a chance to switch to my Yosh pipes, switch out my brake line, or a couple other small things. I did get around to fixing my luggage though! I know that I Should have asked for help, but you know me..I am just too stubborn. You planning on leaving at 8, or have some morning plans?
  20. I might even be able to make it out for this one. Still not real sure, but I am hoping to. Hopefully, see you guys tomorrow.
  21. If any of you Marysville riders, (or those riders passing through) want to meet up, and ride with me, I will be at Dunhams and Lowes parking lot (right off of 36, and 2 blocks from 33, across the street from a gas station) I will be at Dunham's at 11:00, gassed and ready. I will be Leaving at 11:15 I will be going the semi-back way, it takes about 50 minutes, (going google maps speed limit) instead of the normal 30 minutes, so it isn't a big detour or anything. It keeps us off of 33, and half of 270. It is a very easy ride, speed limit in some sections is either 40 or 45, I don't remember offhand. You are encouraged to ride your own pace, and nobody will get left behind. Basically, it's just a chance to ride down there together. So, if you want some company riding down there, be at Dunham's parking lot at 11:00. My bike is extremely easy to recognize, and you won't be able to miss it. Black Busa with luggage...Easy..but send me a PM if you have any questions See you guys tomorrow! 22. You sure you mean "Mansfeild" and not Woodsfield? Mansfield would really screw up the route
  23. Sorry to hear about that. I wish him well with the harley, but unless he is wearing gear, he can still get hurt on one of those.
  24. Back roads whenever I can, freeway if I have to. Back roads are just much more scenic. The back roads I ride, it's pretty rare to see a car. So it's like a possible 20 cars with idiot drivers that will drift over while texting, or just not paying attention, vs 200 on the freeway. Less cops on the back roads, is always a good thing too! Generally though, I just ride wherever I want. As far as safety goes, I feel dressing properly is the most important thing, and of course, staying as alert as you can.
