Gump
I'm having a heck of a time finding rear leaf springs for this. Was only going to replace the one side but junk yards don't seem to have a match. Apparently it can be f-350 springs. It's an 1997 heavy duty, old body style, extended cab, 4x4, long bed with a 460. 4+1 leafs. At this point I was just going to buy both rears but it takes a damn week to get them. The link below shows 1 type of springs I could get. Apparently there are many. I chose the below due to the # rating.http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=7444Anyone got the hook up? I need to get it done and out of a garage ASAP. Gump
Try this place, they used to make springs for my Dad's race car.http://blackspringservice.com/Thank you I did call them and will think of them I. The future. Seemed easy to work with but in the end the truck can be in the garage longer so I just ordered a set of new springs for $300 vs. 1ea for $300 locally. Truck would of sat crooked probably if I only did the one side.
