A steering damper helps keep the front end in line preventing the dreaded "tank slappers." Available from Riders Discount are the linear piston style Ohlins steering dampers that are used by the top motorcycle racing teams in the world. Even if your motorcycle comes equipped with a damper from the factory, they aren't as precise or as adjustable as an aftermarket damper like the Ohlins pictured here. Included with the kits that replace a factory unit is a resistor to eliminate any warning lights that may appear when you remove the old damper. Precision machinery on any included brackets.
