Strictly Street
http://consumerist.com/2015/12/28/tigerdirect-has-new-owner-wont-accept-returns/ You may remember TigerDirect, a consumer electronics seller that has a website and once had stores across the country. They’re probably best known for acquiring the brands and assets of CompUSA and Circuit City when both chains filed for bankruptcy and went out of business. Now competitor PCM has purchased the TigerDirect brand, and appears to be winding down its consumer-facing business… including abruptly doing away with returns. Any returns. I never could get rebates from this company - finally gave up on them totally.
ScubaCinci
I haven't bought from them in quite a long time and even then it was because everyone else was out of stock. I usually stick with Newegg, Amazon, buydig or rakuten. Microcenter has stepped up their game as of late and since they price match a lot of things, I'm more than happy to go to the brick and mortar store to get what I need. JustinNck1
I always stayed away from TigerDirect just because I hate doing rebates, plus Amazon Prime helps..

smccrory
On a side note, rebates are highly profitable for manufacturers, retailers and card processors. Hopefully that tells you something.
