RVTPilot
While the 51 is down for repairs, I intened to get my rims powder coated gloss black. Does anyone here have experience with a local shop, or even do it themselves? I have about 5 weeks to get the bike back up, and have wanted to get this done for a long time. Thanks for any and all suggestions and recommendations! natedogg624
not meant to be rude in any manner just getting an idea of pricing can you beat this?:http://tripageled.com/main.htmlclick on products, then your choice of manufacturer and scroll down to find powder coat pricing.you ship the part to them and they powder it and return it.just to give a ballpark of pricing for those too lazy to look:$25 - Rearsets $15 - Gas cap $15 - Levers $15 - Sprockets (front and rear)$40 - Exhaust can (single)$60 - Exhaust can (double)$40 - Exhaust mid pipe Done in HI-TEMP black $35 - Brake calipers (assembled) $20 - Brake calipers (disassembled, pots and seals removed) $50 - Case covers (both). Seal will be replaced by us. $25 - Passenger pegs (must be done prior to led install, oven will melt them!) $15 - Upper triple tree (Honda logo sticker will be removed) $125 - Swingarm (chain adjusters and axle will not be done)ok well that is almost everything they do... anyways prices include the return cost of S/H

sstein77
I've had streetwerkz in Columbus do some calipers for my car. Came out really nice. They don't do magnesium parts, if that matters. Heres their site....http://www.streetwerkz.com/.
