In general, I'm fine with running in a lower group and getting bumped because I know I have the pace. Some people seem to have an issue starting in a lower group though. Idk why. A handful of people wont come ride with N2 because they think they are too good to start in and be bumped out of novice. If someone put me in novice I'd laugh and say ok... Took it out for one session last month, didnt gel with it, questioned my memory on how well I rode 675's. This weekend I think I PR'd on the 675 according to Ryan who was timing me up on the hill. You might notice I'm not riding a Triumph in these pictures. Gingerly riding a less than 100 mile old GSXR1000. Weird to still be accelerating past the kink. Obviously lots of fun to have that much power available (65 more wheel HP on the same dyno). Thing revs real quick and handles pretty well. It's set up for a bigger rider so it was stiff. Lot more work on my wrists, guess I need to think about how I brace myself more. Didn't want to push it, I can see how with a little more time it would be an absolute monster. The quote was just me being a tongue in cheek asshole to Timbo. Whether or not a repave happens, I guess is probably up to Indycar, and if they are threatening to pull out of Mid O due to pavement concerns.
