RidersDiscount
The Firstgear Kathmandu Jacket and Pants are a must have for any adventure rider. Designed to withstand whatever mother nature throws at you, these garments will protect you in all four seasons. Kathmandu Jacket This jacket is made out of both 420 denier rip-stop nylon and 300 denier high density nylon for extreme durability. The jacket is treated with First Gear's Hypertex waterproof coating. For further waterproofing, the Kathmandu has rubberized zippers, dry pockets, and a storm flap that covers the main zipper. Inside of the jacket you will find a pocket designed to hold your cell phone. Forearm, bicep, wrist, and waist adjusters allow you to achieve the perfect fit. The Kathmandu Jacket comes equipped with a 1.5 liter hydration bladder in a removable backpack. Shoulder and elbow stretch panels allow for flexible comfort, even in the riding position. The inside of this jacket features D3O T5 CE Armor in both the shoulders and elbows. D3O armor is extremely flexible, but upon impact the molecules lock together to absorb the energy rather than it transferring to your body. These protectors are movable for a custom fit. The shoulders and elbows also have foam padding. MSRP $349.95 Strategically placed chest vents and rear exhaust vents allow for cool air to flow through the jacket when open. This jacket includes a removable thermal liner, tuck away storm hood, and EVA dense foam back pad. Kathmandu Pants The Kathmandu Pants are constructed of 300-denier nylon and are treated with the same Hypertex waterproof coating as the jacket. Mesh suspenders allow for extra security during rough rides, but are removable to suit other riding situations. Designed to go over a base layer, these pants feature zippers at the top for easy access to base layer pockets. Zippered mesh ventilation panels are built-in throughout the pants to allow excellent airflow when open, yet are waterproof when closed. An internal boot gaiter helps to keep water and other elements out of your boots. MSRP $299.95 Suede knee patches help to prevent scratching your motorcycle. Like the jacket, the Kathmandu Pants feature adjustable D3O T5 CE Armor in the hips and knees. A removable thermal liner is also included with these pants. The rear zipper allows you to easily attach the matching Kathmandu Jacket (sold separately). ScubaCinci
I have the pants, they kept me warm and dry in some epic rain. Thankfully I've not had to test their durability - the suspenders are really nice as over-pants tend to want to sag.

smccrory
I wore the jacket (bought from RD!) all last year and love it. It's seen monsoon level rain, dirt, dust, heat and cold. No complaints.
