Scruit
I want a pair of Icon Pursuit touchscreen gloves, but according to the size chart I am dead center between L and XL. In this situation, is it generally better to go up a size or down a size?
JustinNck1
Leather gloves would be more likely to stretch than a textile, but I would try both sizes and see which feels better.
ReconRat
I say go up a size. Your clenched fists on grips will appreciate larger. It's well worth trying them on first (Iron Pony), to see what's up. I should wear a medium, but large fits better for me. Long fingers, get jammed up in medium. Have even seen XXL on sale that were barely a medium. You never know...
what
I made the mistake of going down a size (between XL and XXL scorpion leather gloves) and they are too small. I thought they'd stretch over the fall gap trip but they ended up hurting my hands pretty badly after 1600 miles. I'm going to be getting a larger pair. That said, anyone want a pair of leather scorpion gloves? $80 new I'll let em go for $45. https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/scorpion-sgs-mk-ii-gloves?gclid=Cj0KEQiAzZHEBRD0ivi9_pDzgYMBEiQAtvxt-IYtpJx5yOFZ-3xJ8cBlhYLYt7DIkPMfsNbNcdaT7bgaAjkF8P8HAQ Size XL. Pretty much new.
