Browning
97 Cavalier, the turn signal fuse keeps popping out. You have to bend the prongs on the fuse just to get it to barely hold. Any way to fix it without replacing the whole fuse box?
nathan
A dot of superglue should hold it in there quite nicely. Its not blowing the fuse, just falling out, right?
Browning
yea, but it doesnt set in good, gets black on the fuse, but does not blow it.
nathan
you should be able to take the fuse box down to see if the wire connectors somehow got shoved up and are not seated in the holders on the back. If you have an open spot you could always just move the wires to there. They also make fuse holders that will clip onto the side of a fuse box that you slice the wires from the turn signal into. Browning
Dont want to drop it down, because I know nothing about fuseboxes. what do you think it will cost to get it fixed?
Guest racinbird
Try a small metal pick, Ive bent tabs back into place numerous times before. just watch how you bend it, dont break it and dont fry yourself!!
nathan
IE take the negative terminal off the battery. To get it fixed check with Sigman, he's in the vendors index.
