Unleashed
My girlfriends 97 Honda Civic's catalytic converter heatsheild was dragging on the ground today. So I just tore it completely off, how important is it? It doesn't look like anything will get harmed from not having it on there. It's only the section that is underneath the cat closest to the road. The upper shield between the cat and body seems to still be intact. I think it will be safe without, I don't see anything that may melt anywhere around it. I haven't jacked it up to get a better look what do you guys think? Is it worth replacing. Thanks
