Awfulcanawful Posted March 22, 2005 Report Share Posted March 22, 2005 I went wheeling in my truck this weekend and got it stuck and was rocking the transmission in and out of reverse to drive. Now there is a delay when i put it in drive. I move the lever to drive and it takes a while for the tranny to catch up and enguage. It also doesnt shift as hard when i accelerate. Lustalbert Posted March 23, 2005 Report Share Posted March 23, 2005 no burnt smell? no discoloration at all? slow engagement sounds like a pressure problem, wither not enough pressure, or a passageway somewhere partialy blocked. also, the pump could have lost a vane, but i think that would make a fair amount of noise that would be noticable my .02, im not a tranny mechanic though Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
