What involved in changing wheel bearings on a front wheel drive car

That is what I thought too but she said they told her it is a one piece on that car so it cant be removed that way. They said they had to remove tire rod struts etc...Could she/them be talking about something else? CJ

no they are right, the bearing is placed inside the hub as one unit. Do it yourself, save some cash. Once you get into it, youll figure it out. You dont have to undo the tie rods, or take the spindle off of the strut, unless you change that little seal back there. More than likely your seal is still ok..
