670 WB at Third St

the exit ramp that takes you to third street from 670 wb right into downtown... it drops down from 55 to 45 there, and recently there have been cops hiding up on third street. you cant see them at all until its too late. they are on the part of third that you would be on if you were going south on summit into downtown.

 

they are nearly impossible to see because they shoot the radar right through a little hole in the trees, and behind a sign. also they are elevated up above you, and you can only see their car from the bottom of the windows up.

 

its 45 through there, but people usually do 60+

 

its kinda hard to know where it is by describing it, ill try to take a pic or something.

the yellow is your route, 670wb exiting to third st. the red dot is his location, up ON third street, maybe a quarter mile north of the stoplight.

 

the arrow points in the direction that he is checking speed.

chevy, is correct there are always cops in that area, thanks for the info, it helped my girlfriend and i, esp when she is coming from work.
