excell Posted April 19, 2003 Report Share Posted April 19, 2003 The Freeway Patrol are now sitting INSIDE of Downtown on I-70 where the speed limit is 55mph. I saw one sitting on the Mound Street/I70W onramp clocking with a another one about 1/8 mile away picking up the people the first cop clocked. You could NOT see the onramp cop until it was too late. Late last night there was a cop on the merge space between I-70 and the Mound Sreet onramp on I-70W. It's kind of a hill you go over and he is waiting on the other side. Again VERY hard to see until it's too late. BE CAREFUL! They are now finding ways of clocking inside downtownn where it's 55mph and if you are like me you are usually doing 70+ through there.
