ok, i told myself i was going to take off my rims and put my stock wheels back on when it snowed. i woke up this morning, and it was snowing at my house, so i took em off.

my question is, whats the best way to store the wheels and tires until spring when i put them back on? they are in my garage now, but i was gonna move em to the basement once i get em all cleaned off... should i deflate the tires? keep em inflated? any tips anyone?

I had some 18s sit on top of each other in the basement of my house last winter, and they really stuck together. Plus, the dry air in the house sucked all of the moisture from them.

Bottom line: 1) If you stack rubber against rubber, be sure to have plastic or cardboard between the two, and 2) If you store inside, keep in baggies to retain moisture.

Joel posting:

keep my DR's in the basement. keep them separate from your furnace (emmits ozone) and lower psi to about 5psi. Got these tips from BFG pamphlet or thier web site. I forget which.
