DeathSandwich Posted May 5, 2004 Report Share Posted May 5, 2004 how do i reset my "maintenance required" thing on my acura? i've heard something about pressing the trip odometer while i start the car or somthing like that but i'm not sure.... btw i have an electrical one w/ a light and not a mechanical one like on some civics.... Tulo Posted May 5, 2004 Report Share Posted May 5, 2004 On mine there's a little square button under the dash where your ignition is. Hold it while the key is in the acc position. Tractor Posted May 5, 2004 Report Share Posted May 5, 2004 What!!! Acura put it in the manual? Wow thats cool. Usually have to look for awhile on the internet to find them. I know my GMC you pull the battery cable. My mazda you used to have to unplug the battery and hold the brake pedal down for 30 seconds with the key turned on. Very funny.
