Vehicle must meet at least one of the following requirements: 1. More than ten years old 2. At least one rust spot greater than 1/4 of an inch at in either length or width 3. KBB value of $3000 or less 4. Significant body damage, whether accident, mismatched or missing trim or body parts, or rust. 5. Broken windows 6. Salvage title Any other ideas? Anyone got some webspace to keep a list? I think if it does not meet atleast 2 of these then it is not a beater! I know of a 13 year old honda with 4 of the 6 on the list that runs 11.5 1/4 mile. And my Duster sure as hell qualifies as a beater, I've got a sweep of all 6! But wait, does it really count, with it's lack of the one essential winter car necessity, IE a functional heater? Hmmmm. Has been totaled twice and rebuilt, front end is krylon red no match to rest of truck. 5. Window falls down on its own, hand crank is busted. 6. It has a salvage title. 7.
