Guest Bluesmaster
Yesterday I had the pleasure of having my Evo be the first car dynoed with the brand new Dynapack dyno at Quantum Racing. I am very pleased with the numbers: Stock Turbo, Cat, 93 octane pump gas, 20 psi boost tapering to 18psi -- 343 hp, 320 ft/lb torque. This initial tuning was part of the setup process, and only cursory tuning was done. Mark and Bryon at Quantum have done all the work and all the setup and tuning on my Evo. They are now scheduling dyno time, give them a call at 937-642-5400. I'm attaching the dyno sheet as well as my mod list. Unfortunately, I'm outflowing the stock turbo and losing boost and torque in the upper range. Looks like a larger turbo is in order. owndjoo
idk if you're outflowing that turbo. buschur has gone mid 11's on the stock turbo. that thing can go pretty damn far man.
Guest stvbreal
I'm thinking you could get more power with all those mods too.
SilverEvo8owner
well from what mark has told me, the tune on it is very safe tune His Egt's and a/f ratios are pretty low plus with a cat and pump gas Looks good Randall smile.gif

KennyFKINPowerz
Man those numbers seem really low for the list of mods you have. Tune that sucker.

Last time I checked a 20g flows more at 19psi than a 16g @20psi bleeding to 18. So you SHOULD have been making more power than this guy. Guest stvbreal
What I think he is trying to say is: Evo 16g and lotsa mods fresh engine < Laser 20g less mods 100k mile engine

And to think i wasnt all that crazy about my numbers at the time redface.gif It was more a monetary comparison than anything. Hes got more in the first few lines of mods than i did in my entire car + mods Not including the $28K difference in cost of the cars of course.... Gotta love awd driveline loss
Orion
Gotta love awd driveline loss and launch. those are nice numbers, man. bet its a real fun ride. i do agree, however, that with that list of mods, it seems like you ought to be making more hp, safe tune aside. keep us posted. and go run 11's, just so cold air will shut up. Mowgli1647545497
Very nice. But 20psi on 93 octane? Yikes. Maybe I'm too conservative...
owndjoo
i ran 20psi the other day on a 50 trim with pump. but maybe that's why i blew my hg.......hmmm
Bad
Nice chart. Looking at a Evo for a daily driver. If you ever get a Apexi PFC for it let me know. Can't you add a "correction factor" and get that number up to over 500RWHP?

Guest stvbreal
I've been running 24psi for months now on 93/94. I know, I know, turn it down. smile.gif
