Tractor
Yeah I agree but wow a coil spring breaking. Isn't that like the last part to rust away at the junkyard? Evan

ridenred27
i guess that you all have not seen how the hondas do the same thing. i replaced more honda coil springs than i care to remember. but i have also seen this first hand since the festiva and the aspire are both mazda and kias mixed into one, my rear spring on my festiva broke one complete wrap off about a year ago. then the aspire shit only had 65k on it. (for those that dont know 91 festiva with 94 aspire drivetrain)

Tractor
Luckily he has alot of cars to drive. This one was just so cheap new and he's not real smart about stuff like that that he bought it. You should see how I can put my whole arm in the hole in the tire sideways:) Evan
Conesmasher
Hey man, that's not only a problem with Kia. I can't tell you how many BMW's and Mercedes with broken springs I have seen. It's not as uncommon as it may seem.

Nitrousbird
My roomate's 94 GT had 2 broken coil springs (both passenger side springs/1 broken, one badly cracked). Of course the car has 192k on the clock, and the only way it was noticable was the car liked to hop when sliding the tail around on left hand turns.
