Huge fire at Ferrari-Maserati dealership.

Unless there is nothing left, the Daytona and any other gems are most likely not lost; there are a handful of coachbuilders who specialize in historic Ferraris and will likely rebuild them. The value of some of those older models far exceeds the tens of thousands of dollars that restoration would cost.

The pricier not-so-old classics (512 BBi, F40) will likely receive help from the factory in spare parts.

Still, :(

That's true, and in fact the unique history of said older cars may actually increase their value if a proper restoration is completed.

It would seem to me it was either arson or some sort of accident (only likely possibilities I think). If it was arson, maybe they need some better security measures. If it was some sort of accident, then shame on the fuckers working there. You would think in a building housing cars who's total value adds up to more than the building itself they would be extremely cautious. Terrible shit. :(

Or someone going for insurance money.

Cars will get fully restored for free

value could go up

new building

612 Scag, not sure if it was THE original or a new one (didnt even know you could get those yet) If it was the original, worth an easy 1.5m
