zeitgeist57
Wow! Just found out my neighbor did an LT1 V8 swap into his red 1988 Porsche 944. It sounded pretty damn evil for about a week, but just today it struck me that the burble was NOT an exhaust leak! He got an LT1 from a 90s Firebird. Not sure about the transmission, but he did the conversion using a kit from Renegade Hybrids . I'm REALLY impressed with the outcome! He did it in his own driveway (using one of those drive-up lift stands), and the only thing he farmed out was the custom single-exit exhaust. Looking forward to running with him in the spring! smile.gif

Nitrousbird
I've heard of people doing that before; pretty cool. There is a Benz in New Albany w/ plates reflecting there is an LT1 under the hood.
Guest Drvn1dvsvw
that's a phuckin hot-ass swap...my buddy's black 944 is just nice looking but slower than all hell but she does handle on rails... but the 951 ain't so bad when you toss a little money into the engine. The 944's are really hard pressed to pull power out of the N/A motors. I bet his sounds as mean as it looks.
