As if there weren't going to be enough police out this weekend already. Now, they'll have to "crack down" on all the "crazy street racing."

By the way, a "drag race?" What, did they stop on 670 and go from a dig?

Evo VIII possibly?

That's sad, man. Are people really that desperate for an adrenaline rush to be racing on the highway? On a weeknight? With traffic around them? graemlins/nonono.gif

If a highschooler in a Focus pushes you to race, just say no, people!

my thoughts too. also it's not nearly strieght enough for a rice at that part of the highway. I would like to think this is non-CR related.

Highway Patrol Cracks Down On 'Extreme Driving'

Columbus Interstates To Be Under Watch

POSTED: 3:51 pm EDT May 25, 2005

UPDATED: 5:35 pm EDT May 25, 2005

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Wednesday it will crack down on what it calls "extreme driving," including driving at speeds of more than 100 mph, changing lanes in an unsafe manner and other reckless moves on local interstates.

Starting this weekend, troopers will use aircraft and road officers to target extreme driving on urban interstates in and around Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton and Akron.

"We're working with all of our law enforcement officers out there to try and combat this extreme driving," Sgt. Stephanie Norman said.

Columbus police said that on Tuesday night, a red Corvette was racing one or two other cars, and those actions likely contributed to a rollover crash on the entrance ramp from Interstate 670 to Interstate 71.
