Guest ravedave Posted July 4, 2005 Report Share Posted July 4, 2005 head on collision w/ a metal pole on hudson n 4th. most yal dont know me but i been round here forever. hands broken so excuse the shortened story. sittin on gas tank, both legs on 1 side, usually not a problem...light turns red when reachin 4 the peg my foot slips n my butt is slidin off gas tank..bike gets off balance. i try to get beside the bike n run cuz i didnt want it aying on me. aparently i cant run 30mph. so me n the bike go forward me n a superman holdin handle bars head first into the pole. huge dent in pole n a crack, no scratches or ANYTHING on the helmet. broken hand, stitches in side n a sprained ankle. darvaset sucks..it doesnt work. forks bent, no cracks in fairings...damn guess that was kinda long....i jus wan get back on my bike! im glad i opted 4 the more expensive helmet!
