Guest bdb280
im looking for a dependable shop to fix up a 82 yamaha xj650 maxim. i wrecked it last summer and the front forks and triple clamp are all outa wack, i would feel safer having an experienced mechanic get it all straighted out for me. if anyone knows of a shop in town i would appreciate it. i have forks and triple clamps from a 82 750 maxim but the rotors dont match up on the bike, im sure someone could use them. Guest bdb280
thanks for the advice, i would like to avoid the 'dealer' if you know what i mean. its my 2nd bike so i cant pump alot of cash into it. the dealer always seems to find away to charge exuberant amounts for labor. its an old bike so im sure there are plenty of seasoned veteran mechs out there. thankyou for the post though
