lightening. strip out everything that you dont absolutely need to drive the car or make it road worthy.

YIELD sign skidplate for the ralley.

since its you, im assuming youve mentioned exhaust with some reinforced mountings to hold it on for the races.

replace the non-opening windows (rear window, back 1/4 windows) with plexi/lexan.

some baja lights and blizzak tires, fairly cheap mods.

Are you talking about a Civic Si???????? If so the AWD models only had 4-speeds, and the drivetrain doesnt easily bolt in. Plus the drivetrain is very weak, litterally toothpicks for axles. It wouldn't last long in a rally, and especially with you driving. ;)

Are you talking about the tranny from the 80s Civic 4WD wagon? It really wasn't a 6-speed. It was the standard ratio 5-speed with a super-low gear to maximize what little engine torque that 1.5L 4cyl put out to all four wheels in the event the wagon was hauling people and schtuff lightly off-road.

Great engineering, but the low gear would be utterly USELESS for racing. Better for "crawling" off-road. (I know that sounds silly for a HOnduH!!! tongue.gif )
