20G TSi
I have a chance to pick up a very nice condition/arizona 1979 Regal S-type (I think its its "s" type). Its a 4 barrel carb'd 3.8L turbo.... Is $700 a good price for a good running car that needs tranny work? Are these things as capable as the T-type and GN's? TIA for the info- Jason
kenny
... sure, with an 86-87 drivetrain. Seriously, there are a few tech boards for the non-SFI cars. http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=11 http://www.flash.net/~rjgeorge/ Those are probably the two best sources for info, gnttype might have some, but it's more 84-87 tech. How fast do you want to go in it?
Science Abuse
Or, consider that an investment. Buy it up and sit one it for a decade or two.

An 83 H/O would be a better buy for that. Lightning shifter owns. graemlins/fruit.gif
