Since max power asked...

this is the dune buggy i'm working on

Some of the coolest featues include: articulated headlights (i can turn them left and right with a lever inside the car) I mostly use those at stop signs when people are paying attention...

custom interior, custom fabricated front bumper, "cyclops" headlights, LED tail lights/turn signals...

one step ahead of you, the material was what i picked out first...

Paint was matched to the material...from a real professional paint shop (added lots of extra metallic)

i got to tighten it up and clean the edges/corners, etc...

the carpet will match...

looks badass.

you should make the headlights turn when you turn the wheel. should be easy to set up a linkage off of the drag link or the tie rods.

I considered this, but the linkage is a little trickier than it sounds, I just have it hooked up to it's own lever on the floor.

Made the shift handle out of my old 17 tooth front sprocket from the XX.

front bumper is not staying red... white or black...haven't decided yet, along with the roll bar and fuel filler tube.

still got to finish the interior, undercoat the sides, finish some wiring, make a center console, install the stereo, and I should be in business.
