zeitgeist57
The Max has 37k miles on lowered springs and stock shox so I'm DEFINITELY getting new shox soon. There is a group buy on a Maxima forum for KYB GR-2's for $260 shipped (all four). Are these good shocks? Anyone have a recommendation? For the price I can't see it getting much better than that. Berto
i had them on my accord, no complaints, for the price u can't beat that, i got them off www.tirerack.com for 156 for all 4, but then again its a honda.
Moe7
at least for 240s they're suppsoed to be basically stock replacement shocks. i didn't feel like taking a chance when i got my eibachs so i just went with AGXs and i love them
recklessOP
the GR2s are a bit mushy. like others have said, they're basically stock replacements. if your lowering springs are somewhat stiff, i'd look into something else...

Mr. Jones
Eibachs + AGX's here too. No complaints..I would def. get a stiffer shock than the GR2 though. They are marginally better than stock @ best. While your springs are mucho stiffer smile.gif
SupraGlue
I'll agree with the comments on the AGX. The four way adjustability is nice to have. Only problem IMO, is that the jumps between settings are pretty large. Honestly, if you're going to go through the trouble of getting aftermarket shocks, get something adjustable. I think I got my AGX for $80 each or so, plus $15 per corner for the install.
