Guest nevarmore
I read about these in one of the hot rod magazines at work. It was a cover story so you should spot the magazine right off. Kiss my ass Eric.

A half-dozen small K&N's would work and then could be easily taken off before a show. An air cleaner could be easy to make too, the intake scoops would be hidden within the aircleaner. I'm assuming that they help smooth out the air entering into the "carbs" otherwise you could use a regular 3x2 air cleaner.
Akula
Stacks rule, this is basically the setup we created using Ron's Flying Toilets. Obviously, drag only setup.

Akula
Possibly the most consistant setup you can run.... Paul recently ran an entire race up to the finals with only 3 hundreds difference through the whole day. 7.75 to 7.78. It is a mechanical fuel injection setup, we run two 4" toilets on a tunnel ram. http://www.ronsracing.com/
