Bahnstoermer1647545488
Ok, here's I need done on the little bitch... ~Full Transmission rebuild. ~Install new rear brakes. ~Find & fix "clunk" in front right suspension ~remove all pads & silicone to calipers ~wax ~purchase/install two new tires ~install/hardwire head unit ~touch up caliper paint ~scuff, paint, and rebalance rims w/stick on weights ~remove new, annoying boost controller & reinstall stock airbox ~continue daily payments to Explodius, the God of Apex Seals I'm paying $50, plus a tip for good work. I can probably supply most the parts, whatever's left can come out of the $50. I'm going to base offers on mechanical experience and approximate schedule of completion. Moral: Don't but an RX7 unless you got a beater car and no life, or just $$$ since you'll spend all your social, work, and sleeping hours working on it, and it will lower your grades, annoy your friends, make your girlfriend(s) jealous, and generally consume your life. I recommend a new Porsche for equivalent fun w/ turnkey style operation. Consider yourself married to the RX7... what looked so good from afar is now whiny, finicky, never in the mood to play when you are and just TOO DAMN EXPENSIVE! Don't do it boys! It seems you are at the "acceptance" stage of your relationship with your FD. Kyle on the other hand, is in denial. I haven't seen him outside of a CR meet since January. I feel like I'm being cheated on. He kisses HER goodnight before he even says goodnight to me! I guess all I can do it support him and help him through this obsessive addiction.... ANYWAY, sorry to interupt your post with my jealousy, Alex. [ 11 April 2002, 06:31 PM: Message edited by: GHEESEL ]

SupraGlue
Don't feel bad. At least your dealer network doesn't SUCK as bad as Toyota's does. Granted, we rarely need parts, but when we do, it's a two-week wait for the WRONG FREAKING $5 PART. Toyota Direct http://frognet.net/~mitias/smilies/rl%5B1%5D.gif Oh, and I need to change my oil every now and then, and the filter is a pain to reach. tongue.gif

Guest OSUstang
I love how easy it is to work on my mustang, and it's easy to get parts too. The oil filter is easy as hell to get to also, not like my GF's civic that is a pain in the ass to reach.
Renner
Everything in my engine bay is a pain in the ass to work on. http://images.cardomain.com/installs/160000-160999/160293_44_full.jpg Fortunately, it doesn't break down that often.
