My friend has a 1990 Ford Probe, 2.2L non-turbo.

It idles around 2500 RPMs, and when in neutral, the RPMs surge, maybe +500 RPMs.

Any ideas or help would be great! Thanks guys! :D

On the 2nd gens that is a sure sign of a vacuum leak.

I'd start there.
