Akula
These guys just built a new shop and I had my bug's front brakes replaced there. They did a conversion from drums to discs and replaced the ball joints, got it all aligned really nice. They saw a wire that was getting bare and hanging down, Mike tracked it down and replaced it free of charge (reverse light wire). They have a huge lift (15000lbs), bulk oil pumps, really sweet tire changer that does chrome wheels really well, and they are great people. 614-873-7107

I don't know the exact address but they are right off of Industrial Parkway just out-side of Dublin. ~Erik

Akula
8070 Corporate BLVD, Plain City (don't be fooled by the address they are really close to True Performance). I know them really well (I am their computer guy) so they didn't charge me for the labor, I bought the parts. Call Kevin and he can give you a quote. Tell them you know J from racing and they will hook you up.

Guest badmuthrfkr
No, their primary industry is large machinery such as tractors and large earth machines. smile.gif
Akula
Not true, they used to only do OTR equipment. They have changed. They don't have an alignment machine yet, they take it to the firestone dealer in dublin.
eds72grabber
damn,i need to find someone near there that will do alignment on mercedes or bmw's.any ideas?
Akula
I assume they are the same as any other car. The Taylors took my VW (1970) to the Bridgestone/Firestone dealer in Dublin since Taylor Tire is a Bridgestone Firestone affiliate. You can call the Taylors and ask, they will know where you can go. I would expect any Bosch-certified (equipped) shop to have the proper equipment and specs to do a 4-wheel alignment on any high-line German car. Just a guess. Ziggy1647545504
Originally posted by Akula: I assume they are the same as any other car. No, not true. Mercedes and BMW's require very specific weights be placed on each of the individual seats of the vehicle for a proper alignment. The problem is, a lot of the time, the only people that have access to that information are the dealers themselves. I think the only people that around here that do those high end German cars properly besides the dealers is Beeline down on the Southeast side. Akula
I just stopped by there a couple of days ago, they are running a $14.99 oil change special. They run Kendall out of their bulk tanks. 614-873-7107, they are very quick.

Akula
I was just in there today. They have the coolest alignment machine I have ever seen. Laser adjustment for toe, caster, camber, the whole shooting match. They can do anything from an old vw beetle to the largest fire truck and anything in between.
