I guess the major improvement will be the efficiency designed strictly for 64 bit processors, even if it supposedly is backwards compatible with 32 bit CPUs. What do you think? All x86 architecture is backwards compatiable, and all true 64bit systems are not being used unless the OS has the extended registries for the 64bit platform.
