need video editing software

Hey guys I am needing a program much like pinacle studio 9 or adobe premier elements to capture and then edit video. What do you guys use, and where is the BEST place to get it at....

 

I have some dyno runs of the Viper I need to upload.

This Laptop I just recently got has windows movie maker on it. I've been playing around with it a little bit and its actually pretty cool. You can do some neat things with it. But to answer your question...no idea about the other 2.

Windows Movie Maker does a decent job.

 

I use a bunch of stuff depending on the job; Sony Vegas, Sony DVD Architech, Main Concept encoder, and Windows Movice Maker.

 

Generally I'll capture with MainConcept or Windows MM to raw AVI format. Thats ~10gb for 60 minues of video. Very basic edits will be done in Win MM or more complex ones in Vegas. Main Concept does a decent job encoding so I'll handle it with that. Finally DVD Architech for creating DVD menus ...

get a mac and use final cut pro hd. only way to go for video editing. sorry windows guys, but it is the truth.

but if you are stuck with windows, download premier, it does a good job
