Mensan
The new way of making CDs undetectyable to CD drives is to add a track of data that the computer will try and interpret, but cannot. It decides the CD is unreadable, but a CD player will just go right over the "bad spot". The way around this is to take a marker and color over the first track on the CD, which is the outside track, and the laser will go right to the actual CD data. You should be able to visually see the data track that blocks the CD drive.
Berto
won't that ruin the CD tho?
Mensan
Not if you just mark over the "garbage" track. The actual CD data is beyond that area. You aren't blocking any music data.

Berto
the marker thing works, i reluctantly did it. it snot every day its ok to write on a CD with permanent marker... but it works.
